UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT
An Electrical Underground Superintendent at Fountain Electric manages full-scale underground electrical installations, leading multiple crews and ensuring that layouts, conduit systems, duct banks, pole bases, and equipment are installed safely, accurately, and to plan. This role requires interpreting engineered drawings and survey layouts, coordinating with foremen and project managers, managing QA/QC, and ensuring NEC compliance across all underground work. Superintendents enforce safety, communicate with contractors and clients, monitor progress, inspect and test systems, and provide organizational direction for field operations. They also mentor foremen, plan site logistics, and support documentation, reporting, and jobsite coordination on complex commercial or industrial underground projects.
